Gas Leak Detection Systems

call now

A gas leak doesn't announce itself until something's already wrong, which is exactly why gas detection can't be an afterthought in any building running LPG or natural gas. We install fixed detection systems that pick up a leak long before anyone in the building would notice it themselves, giving you the window to act instead of react. We've installed and maintained gas detection systems across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and the wider UAE for kitchens, plant rooms, and industrial process areas — each one calibrated to the specific gas and space it's covering, not fitted as a generic add-on.

Gas Detection System Installation

We assess the site first — where a leak is most likely to happen, what gas is in use, and what the room layout actually looks like — before deciding on detector placement and gas detection sensor type. Get the placement wrong and you've got a blind spot; we don't install until the layout's been walked and mapped properly.Once placement is confirmed, we wire detectors into a central control panel, integrate shut-off valves where the system calls for automatic isolation, and commission the whole setup under real conditions before handover. You get documentation showing exactly how the system was tested, not just told it works.

Gas Detection System Maintenance

A gas detection sensor drifts out of calibration over time — it's not a set-and-forget device. We run scheduled testing and calibration visits to confirm sensors are still responding accurately, because a detector that's stopped reading correctly is worse than no detector at all; it gives false confidence.Maintenance visits are logged per property, so you've got a service history ready for civil defence or DOE review, and if something needs recalibrating or a sensor's failing, we catch it on a scheduled visit rather than after an incident.

How Gas Detection Works

Fixed detectors continuously sample the air around them, checking for gas concentration against a set threshold rather than waiting for a visible or smellable leak. When that threshold is crossed, the system triggers an alarm and — where configured — an automatic shut-off, cutting gas supply before it reaches a dangerous level. It's this constant monitoring that makes fixed detection different from someone simply noticing a smell after the fact.Systems can also integrate into a building management system, so facilities staff get an alert on their own monitoring dashboard even if nobody's standing near the panel when it happens. That matters most in larger buildings where a single panel isn't going to be checked constantly — the alert needs to reach whoever's responsible, wherever they are, not just sound locally and hope someone's nearby.

Gases We Detect

We configure systems for LPG, natural gas, and other specialty gases depending on the application, matching sensor type to the specific gas and environment — a kitchen setup isn't calibrated the same way as an industrial process line, and treating them the same is how false alarms or missed detections happen.

Gas System Compliance & Approvals

A gas detection system installed in the UAE has to meet DOE regulations and civil defence requirements before it's considered operational, not as an afterthought once the equipment's already in. We handle that as part of the project — technical drawings, design submittals, and coordination with the relevant authority — so the system is approved alongside the installation, not chasing paperwork after the fact.Once commissioned, documentation stays on file so you're never scrambling if civil defence or DOE requests records during a routine or renewal inspection.
