Public Address & Voice Evacuation System Installation in the UAE

A public address system gives building occupants clear, spoken instructions during a fire or emergency, guiding evacuation in a way that alarm sounders alone can't. Firestone Fire and Security Systems designs, installs, and maintains public address and voice evacuation systems across commercial, residential, and industrial buildings in the UAE, integrated with fire alarm and life safety systems.

Our services

Public Address System Installation

Installation covers speaker layout and coverage design based on the building's size and acoustics, amplifier and control panel setup, and integration with the fire alarm system to trigger the correct evacuation message automatically. Systems are tested for audibility and intelligibility across every zone before handover, since a message that can't be clearly understood doesn't meet its purpose.

Public Address System Maintenance

Routine maintenance includes testing amplifier and backup power function, checking speaker output and coverage, and confirming the system correctly triggers the right evacuation message when the fire alarm activates. Any fault in a life safety voice evacuation system needs to be identified and resolved quickly, which is why these systems are usually kept on a scheduled AMC rather than tested only when an issue is suspected.

How a Public Address & Voice Evacuation System Works

A voice evacuation system connects to the building's fire alarm panel and, once triggered, broadcasts pre-recorded or live spoken messages through speakers positioned across the building. Unlike a standard alarm sounder, which only signals that something is wrong, a voice message can direct occupants to specific exits, calm panic, or instruct staff in one area to evacuate while another area stays in place, known as phased evacuation. This makes voice evacuation particularly valuable in large, complex, or high-occupancy buildings where a single alarm tone doesn't give people enough information to respond correctly.
